Having difficulties in understanding the meaning of particular word in a particular language is unavoidable. The solutionfor this concern is either paper-based or electronic dictionary. With growing technological advancement, electronic dictionary keeps on emerging. Current existing electronic dictionaries are limited with functionality to translate for multiword correctly. This paper aims to discover a searching algorithm that can read single and two words (multiword) in a Malay or English language and translate it correctly to another language, either Malay or English. The objectives of the study is to develop a Mobile Dictionary system, namely MobileDic which able to cater for single and multiword translation in Malay and English language in J2ME-enabled mobile phones. The system incorporates a searching algorithm, by using Hashtable function. The system prototype should be able to recognize whether the input word is a single or multiword and intelligently translate the word matched by Hashtable key and value. The multiword will have its own separate database or corpus listing all the possible second word after the first word of that multiword. The output of this system will be evaluated by users who already have experienced in using existing electronic dictionaries based on MobileDic accuracy as well as its usefulness. As a conclusion, MobileDic is able to improve current situation and can be a useful look-up source especially to students and tourist

Health can be define as a state of complete mental, physical and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity according to the World Health Organization (WHO) [1]. Having a healthy body is the greatest blessing of life, hence healthcare is required to maintain or improve the health since the healthcare is the maintenance or improvement of health through the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of injury, disease, illness, and other mental and physical impairments in human beings. The novel paradigm of Internet of Things (IoT) has the potential to transform modern healthcare and improve the well-being of entire society [2]. IoT is a concept aims to connec

Applied of image processing technique on semi-auto count of skin spot

Skin is the biggest organ in the human body and works to separate the inner body part from outer environment. In the skin, there are sebaceous glands found inside the pores of the skin. They are at all over the body except for the palms of the hands and the feet soles. There are more sebaceous glands on the face and scalp than elsewhere. Sebaceous gland secretes an oily protective skin surface, sebum, which is against pathogens and also help to slow down the skin ageing process [1]. They can help to maintain the moisture of the skin. However, the sebaceous glands become overactive sometimes, thus, producing too much sebum and the pores can get clogged together with dead skin [2][3]. This will results in having blackheads along with other factors. Blackhead is one of an acne vulgaris type [4]. It is a small dark spots on the skin that sometimes hard to be seen under a naked eye. If the clogged pores infect the glands, the accumulated sebum may form a sac and slowly increase in size. Lack of sebum production can also provide unsatisfied result that could cause dry skin, which makes the skin, looks rough and dull

End stage kidney disease (ESKD) is a disease where both kidneys are no longer functioning properly and patients require renal replacement therapy (RRT) such as haemodialysis to prolong their life. The numbers of modality for haemodialysis had increased, as the numbers of new patient of ESKD increased. In Malaysia, the numbers of new patient had increased three-fold for the past 10 years, from year 2002 to year 2012. In this paper, demographic data, clinical data and input and output of dialysis for the selected patients are presented. The post-dialysis urea concentrations for each patient with different weightfor one compartment model were simulated using MATLAB software. The simulated values of post-dialysis urea concentration were then compared with the clinical values of post-dialysis urea concentration for different weight. The simulated values of post-dialysis urea concentration underestimated the clinical value of post-dialysis urea concentration for patient with weight less than 70kg but overestimated to patient with weight greater than 70kg. The ratio of simulated values and clinical values of post-dialysis urea concentration were found to increase with the weight of patien

It is a great pleasure that we present the 11th special issue with a number of 7 of the International Journal of Integrated Engineering (IJIE). This edition features the latest findings and research in the areas related to Mechanical Engineering and its application. We would like to extend our sincere gratitude and appreciation for the enthusiastic and vigorous support and contributions from the Editorial Board and Reviewers of IJIE for taking time and effort to review the manuscripts.  As no manuscript is accepted or rejected without careful reading by experts in a particular area to which the paper is related. The experts have maintained a high standard of scholarship and we believe the readers of this Journal deserves. It is our hope that this fine collection of articles will be a valuable resource for International Journal of Integrated Engineering (IJIE) readers and will stimulate further research in the area of Mechanical, Materials and Manufacturing Engineering.  We strongly encourage authors to submit their articles and readers to provide feedback.  In order to access the online version of this issue along with archived editions please visit our website http://penerbit.uthm.edu.my/ojs/index.php/ijie/. We would like to thank all the authors who have contributed manuscripts in IJIE and those who are awaiting their manuscripts for publication in subsequent issues
